The 1961 Ford Galaxie Starliner is a rare, two-year-only (1960–1961) full-size fastback hardtop celebrated for its sleek, Jet Age design, featuring a thin-pillared "bubble top" roofline. Only 29,669 were produced, making them highly collectible today. It was renowned for its aerodynamic design, making it popular in NASCAR racing. Known for its thin pillars and expansive, wraparound rear glass that flows seamlessly into the trunk.

• Revised 1961 Styling: Compared to the 1960 model, the '61 featured mini-fins and a cleaner front-end with quad headlamps and a prominent chrome grille. 

• Jet-Age Details: Signature large, round "afterburner" style taillights and "Starliner" script on the trunk lid. Ford produced 29,669 Starliners in 1961 before replacing the model with the Galaxie 500/500XL series in 1962.

   It remains a highly sought-after classic due to its rarity and unique "space-age" design.
